CEF^® Summer Missionary Opportunities

One of our greatest delights is to help teens, college students and adults take one more step in becoming God’s best. Not only does each walk away knowing how to introduce people to Christ, but a number of our local CEF workers are now serving the Lord as missionaries, pastors, outstanding church leaders, etc. – or – are preparing to do so. Some are bold leaders who used to be hide-in-the-corner shy. By the way, some of our children lead others to the Lord while they are still in third grade.

3 Types of Summer Missionaries

1. Local – We train local teens and college students to take the Gospel to kids in back yards, living rooms, Vacation Bible Schools and at our camp. You can download a flier from our resources page. If your summers are flexible and you are ready to depend on God to go way beyond your comfort zone, check us out.


2. SUM^® – Summer Urban Missionaries are trained at our home office in Missouri and sent to large cities where the gospel is hard for kids to find. Click on the link to go to the home office site.


3. OSM^TM – Overseas Summer Missionaries are also trained at our home office, but sent to nations overseas where language is not an impossible barricade. One of our local teens returned from Zimbabwe telling of sharing Christ with more kids than we can do locally in several years.
