From May 5 to 25, we plan to host Edmund Nkala, national director of CEF in Zimbabwe, Africa.

In a country were the inflation rate is over 1600%, few of the farms are producing any kind of produce, only about 20% of the people have jobs and food is scarce (a loaf of bread costs many millions of dollars), Edmund leads a CEF ministry that reaches tens of thousands of children each week during the school year. Sadly, he has to drive to another country to cash his check and purchase food.

While he is here, Edmund will be appearing at the Chinese Church in State College on May 11, and at Brisbon Baptist in Houtsdale that evening. On May 25, he will be appearing at two churches in the morning (Bald Eagle UMC at Wingate & Eagle Heights Bible Church) and Marsh Creek BIC in the evening.

On Wednesday evenings, he will be at Nittany Bible Church in Pennsylvania Furnace on May 7 and at Calvary Bible on Centre Hall Mountain on May 14 and at First Baptist Church of Bellefonte on May 21.

He is available most evenings for Adult Bible Fellowships, ladies' groups, etc on other weekday evenings.

Some of his supporters have passed away, so he needs to find more. Nancy has details - 814-466-6780.

Wow!!! Two people have given him laptop computers. What he has back home just doesn't work.

For decades our Good News Adventure Camp in Bellefonte has been helping young believers develop into Christian leaders. Sometimes kids get saved. Now we hope to start a similar one in Clinton County. Please pray that God will provide workers, location, etc.

God designed the church for believers to help each other follow and serve our God. The kids we reach needed to be enfolded into one. Praise God for Ruby, who has worked with children for years, but can't any more. "This is a ministry designed for me," she said. When we give her names and addresses, she will hook them up with a nearby Bible-believing church.

March 25, 2008: Summer Ministries

I rejoice that God has given us one summer missionary and several hosts.

Please pray and help us find godly people who will reach children living nearby.

A summer missionary (age 15+) spends the summer evangelizing children in back yards & living rooms. We train them well and help them earn a salay.

Hosts arrange for our missionaries to come and lead a party club or a 5-Day Club (R).

A party club is an exciting, fun-filled party that encludes the Gospel.

A 5-Day Club is about an hour a day during one week. The host invites kids, makes them welcome and has the chance to encourage kids to follow the Lord later.
