February 10, 2010: CEF Recommends a VBS kit
CEF stopped publishing VBS kits a few years ago yet people still call us asking about it. Regular Baptist Press came to us last year and asked if they could learn our teaching methods and incorporate some of them into their kits!
RBP is the first publisher that has sought to do this and while RBP doesn't incorporate all of our methods in their VBS, we are very pleased that their kit for 2010, SeaQuest, is consistent with our counseling methods and many of our Bible teaching methods and is a thoroughly evangelistic VBS kit for churches. Plus it's from a publisher whose doctrinal statement aligns with our statement of faith.
There are many kits to choose from and VBS committees have a lot to consider. We hope you will pick a kit and develop a strategy that reaches the children outside your church who don't yet know Christ.
